The Rules of Advertising on
the Awake In Philly Website
The Awake In Philly Community
Education Group was founded to provide an informational,
supportive, and advocacy resource to the sleep community.
To accomplish this goal, Awake In Philly intends to network with the healthcare,
sleep disorder, and business communities to draw
knowledge; information; research; other content,
including illustrations, pictures, and other media;
and experience. The networking will also allow for
support, whether financial or contributory, such
as printing, donations of equipment, or items to
meet other needs.
Awake In Philly is a member of
several ad banner programs, which allows selected
ad banners to be displayed on this site. The ad
banners, when used for purchases, provide small
financial rewards, usually pennies per purchase,
which helps defray the costs of providing this forum.
To generate additional revenue,
Awake In Philly may also sell advertising, sponsorships,
and content to outside companies who desire to address
the members of the sleep community.
Despite the need for this revenue,
Awake In Philly has established these six (6) principles
with regard to advertisements and content:
Awake In Philly determines site content and
maintains sole and absolute discretion.
Awake In Philly will not be unduly influenced
nor intimidated by advertisers, sponsors, professional
associations, or others in presenting any information
and/or support material, or in its advertising
policy.
All advertisements must be for lawful products,
as determined by any laws established in the
jurisdiction in which Awake In Philly operates.
Awake In Philly has the right to reject any
advertisement in its sole and absolute discretion.
Reasons for rejection could including that Awake In Philly believes the advertisement to be fraudulent,
objectionable, or unfit to the community served
by the support group.
Awake In Philly does not endorse any product
that promotes or advertises.
Advertising will not be accepted for alcohol,
gambling, pornography, tobacco, or other products
deemed unacceptable by the sole and absolute
discretion of Awake In Philly.
