September 11, 2002 —

The decision to not hold a regular meeting during September was made after consideration of the one-year anniversary of the terror attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Awake In Philly's normal meeting date is the second Wednesday of the month, which happens to fall on September 11 this year.

October through December 2002 meetings —

Meetings are temporarily halted while a meeting location is secured for the group.

For the past several months, meetings have been held at the Northeast Regional Library. Library meeting rooms can be utilized six months per calendar year.

   Awake In Philly is a community education group for individuals who have been diagnosed with at least one of the recognized sleep disorders, as well as anyone else impacted by those with sleep disorders.
